Comp list for 11/14

Hello, everyone!

It is almost time for my favorite Holiday- THANKSGIVING!! The ads this week will probably get a little funky- some will have different dates than usual, some will run longer than usual, etc. But I want everyone to know I will NOT be sending a list out on Wednesday, November 21st (the day before Thanksgiving).  Usually the ads do not come out on that day so I hope this year will not be any different. I will be sunning myself on a beach in Mexico the week from the 19th through the 23rd! (Our honeymoon that is 7 1/2 years late).  I will not be responding to messages during this time so if you have any issues I will try to help you when I get back!  You will be able to expect the next comp list on Wednesday, November 28th. So stock up this week!!

Also, as always, please take a look at the ads that are on the last few pages of the comp list.  We have had some new stores post info and some stores that have been here a while post some deals! So be sure to check them out (and there is one with a free gift just for stopping by!!)!

And before I send this- I have been noticing some awesome deals in the ads this week.  There might be a few you get questioned on (Aldi's has a 10lb bag of potatoes for $1.00!) but be persistent- its true! lol. There aren't as MANY deals except for Thanksgiving stuff but what is on sale is majorly on sale.

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great Halloween last week.

I wanted to let you in on a deal that I received in my email this week.  I hope the photo below will work!

If you cannot see this photo I will fill you in.  It is from JC Penney's and they are doing FREE family photos the whole month of November.  You get free sitting fees, a free 8x10 and a free digital copy emailed to you.  I thought this was a GREAT deal so I figured I would share it!  (You have to schedule an appointment to have it done!)

I don't have too much to discuss today... There are some really good deals out there so hopefully you will save some money this week!  I also will try to "speed" up the sending out process using the program I downloaded so we will see how today goes.

Price Comps 10/24-10/30

Hello, everyone!  It is that time of week again...

I am working on trying to find a different way to get the comp list sent out without me spending the whole day in front of the computer trying to send it! I found a program and downloaded a 30-day trial, so we will see if it works.  It may take a bit longer to get the list out to you (or it may be faster, I don't know yet), so if you are an early Wednesday shopper just go to my blog (http://gravespartyof4.blogspot.com/) and you will be able to print it from there by noon.  Hopefully this will work out well!

Just Walk Away...

I was watching the news the other morning and they touched on one of my favorite topics (online shopping). They provided a tip that I LOVE for several reasons (and one that I have used myself!).

Their tip was to sign in to your account (or make one if you don't have one) on a website, put an item in your "shopping cart" online and then just walk away.  Simple as that.  Well, kind of.  I only recommend doing this on your home computer as you probably don't want someone else shopping under your name on a public computer!

Anyway, certain websites will then send you a coupon to your registered email address to entice you to purchase the items you left in your cart.  Best Buy was one of the stores they listed that will do this quite often.

You really get two benefits: first, you get to really think about your purchase and see if you actually want/need it and then second, you get a coupon so if you DO want it you can get it for cheaper!

Not all stores will do this but usually it is worth a shot (if you aren't in a hurry to get your item, that is).
