Hello, everyone!

These are the last few days to vote for me to win All You Magazine's America's Smartest Shopper contest!  If you are a new voter, here is what you do:

Step 2.  Click "Vote" below the super embarrassing video that I made... 
Step 3. Enter in your email address on the page that opens. Make sure my name is selected, un-check the box under the Newsletter part if you don't want daily messages from them.  Then select "No thanks, I don't want to subscribe...." unless you DO want to.  Enter in the "CAPTCHA" words then SUBMIT!!  (You will get a confirmation email later on, just click on the link in it to confirm your vote.  If you don't, your vote won't count!!  You should only have to do this once, I think.)
Step 4.  Take yourself out for a stiff drink since you just helped me out!
Step 5. Repeat tomorrow. And the next day.  And the day after that.  Voting ends 5/24 at 11:59pm. 

I am *hoping* that I win- I am in first so far unless the lady in second has a sneak attack that she is planning on the last day in which case you will have to call 911 because I will have a heart attack.  

I have also been getting some updated info from different Walmart stores in the area so I am working on updating the comp rules pages.  I will let you know when I get more info!

Comp List 5/15-5/21


Hello, everyone! 

There's only a week and a couple days left for me to bug you about voting for me, so here it is: Please, please, please vote (DAILY!) for me to win All You's "America's Smartest Shopper" contest! It is easy to do and only takes a minute or two (especially if you are a return-voter).  Here is how you do it:

As for the winners for this week's contests.... Well, I don't have them done. WHAT?!? I know.  I didn't have time yesterday but I will notify the winners via email today and also on Facebook if you are my friend on there!  I had also mentioned that last week was the official end to the giveaways.  This is mostly true.  I do have a few things left that I will be giving away so keep watching! These may be posted on Facebook (you can find me at https://www.facebook.com/emy330) or my blog or wherever else I think sounds like fun that day. :)

One more thing- I had a nice lady email me requesting to place an ad. I replied with the info and she sent me her ad.  It is located on the first page of ads for this week.  She wanted to review a few businesses in Ottawa that she has had do some work! So please check it out!

Comp List 5/08-5/14- Please vote for me! Details below.


Hello, everyone! I know you are going to get sick of hearing this by May 24th, but please just humor me! I am part of All You Magazine's "America's Smartest Shopper" Contest.  I was one of 8 finalists picked throughout the US and I WANT TO WIN! Please, please, PUH-LEASE vote for me! (If not, then I shall curse you and you shall have THIS SONG stuck in your head forever. In case you are too much of a bum to click the link, its "It's Peanut Butter Jelly Time" which happens to be the bee's knees at my house with my 2 year old and 4 year old.)  And if you haven't been voting for me this whole entire time (what?!?) then here is the info:

And I know you folks will be sad but this is the last week (for now) for giveaways! (With a small celebratory dance from me- this has been a lot of work!)  There are 4, that's right- FOUR- giveaways this week.  Please note, one of the is definitely a pick-up only prize- it is very heavy and I don't want to pay to have it shipped! The cleaner may also be hard to ship so hopefully we can have that be a pick-up item, also!  Good luck!! (And next week the ad pages will be shorter with no more giveaways!)

Comp List 5/01-5/07 (And you know what to do...vote!)

I hope you have all been doing well this week. (vote)  There are some good deals for this week, so get excited! (and vote) 

I did want to mention something real quick- You will notice there are some ads listed on the last several(!) pages of the comp list.  Please, oh please, take the time to look over these! (then vote)  These people/businesses have been kind enough to pay for a spot on the ad pages which gives me just a little bit of income for doing the list.  I most definitely appreciate people purchasing these ads so please look at them! You might find something you need! (vote)

Moving on... Last week, I had 3 giveaways.  Here are the results: Karen Wittry was the winner of the Scentsy giveaway, Angie Goodwin won the handmade scarf and Courtney Croucher won the It Works! Wrap! Congrats to all of you!  There are 3 giveaways again this week.  The drawings will happen on Tuesday, May 7th at 7:00pm (or 8 or 9... depending on when I can find time) so I will not accept any entries after that time!  Here are the rules for the contest:

One more thing, someone posted a great deal for Diapers on Facebook.  I do have to admit, I usually am a slacker when it comes to looking at the Toys 'R Us flyers but this deal was found there.  So, I will try to look through that each week, also! Comp List 4/17-4/23 AND DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!!

Ok, people.  I NEED YOUR HELP!

On a whim, I entered a contest put on by All You Magazine.  I didn't expect anything to happen.  In fact, I kind of forgot about it.  But then, hello! I've been selected as one of 8 finalists throughout the country! Here's where YOU come in... Please, oh please, vote for me! Voting lasts from April 15th to May 24th and you can vote daily.  Now, as if it isn't cool enough just to vote for me everyday, you will also be entered into giveaways from All You just by voting!  Here are the details:
