Comp List 8/14-8/20

 Hello, everyone!

First of all, I was asked if I would pass the word along about something.  Normally I don't do this because A LOT of people will ask but I thought this was probably a good thing to spread around.  It is the link to help save the Midway Drive-in Theater between Paola and Osawatomie, KS.  Anyway, they are trying to raise money to stay open (and go digital).  They are in a contest called Project Drive-In that helps save Drive-in theaters.  To vote to help save them, go to http://projectdrivein.com/vote_86 and click vote when their Drive-In pops up.  You can vote once a day through (each device) your computer and also once via text.  To vote through text, send Vote86 to 444999 (message and data rates may still apply depending on your plan).  If you get a chance, go visit the Midway Drive-in! This weekend they are showing Despicable Me 2 and Grown Ups 2.    

I also want to mention that I get several email messages each week and comments on Facebook thanking me for the comp list.  I am usually too busy to respond to each one and I feel rude so let me just say you are ALL WELCOME! :)  I am glad I can help people out.  

Lastly, I want to discuss a change I am trying to implement on meat products

​ so there will be less confusion when comping them​

.  I will now put "Value or Family Pack"

​ if the ad states that​

.  Some stores require you to buy the value pack if that is what the ad says and I think that is fair.  So you will notice that in the "Notes" column

​ or right beside the product description​.

 

​I might also 

put notes such as "Does not say value pack" but I may stop that in the future and only list if it DOES.  I hope this helps clear up any confusion

​ on both sides​

 when trying to comp meat products!
